⁣Ellora or Ellora (originally Verul) is an archaeological site located 30 km (18.6 mi) from Sambhaji Nagar, formerly Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India.
Ellora is a symbol of Indian rock-cut architecture, consisting of 34 "caves" carved into the face of the vertical Charanadri mountain. It contains Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain cave temples. They were built between the 5th and 10th centuries.
