PM narrates the origin of 'Vande Mataram' in Lok Sabha, calls it a symbol of awakening!
During the special discussion on 150 years of Vande Mataram, PM Modi narrated how the song was born out of resistance, created at a time when the British tried to make Indians bow to their anthem named 'God Save the Queen'. He said the song stood as a voice of courage and laid the foundation for the freedom movement.
