Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Ch 1 Verse 39-40 | कुलक्षये प्रणश्यन्ति... | Hindi Meaning

Jai Shri Krishna! 🙏
Is video mein hum Shrimad Bhagwad Gita ke Adhyay 1 ke Shlok 39 aur 40 ka arth samjhenge. Arjun yahan Kul-Dharma (Family Traditions) ke baare mein baat kar rahe hain. Unka manna hai ki jab ek parivaar ke bade buzurg yuddh mein maare jaate hain, toh aane wali peedhi (generation) bhatak jaati hai.

Shlok 39-40:
कथं न ज्ञेयमस्माभि: पापादस्मान्निवर्तितुम् |
कुलक्षयकृतं दोषं प्रपश्यद्भिर्जनार्दन || 39 ||
कुलक्षये प्रणश्यन्ति कुलधर्मा: सनातना: |
धर्मे नष्टे कुलं कृत्स्नमधर्मोऽभिभवत्युत || 40 ||
Hindi Translation:
Arjun kehte hain— He Janardan! Kul ke vinash se hone wale dosh (evil) ko jaante hue bhi, humein is paap se bachne ka vichar kyun nahi karna chahiye? Kyunki kul ka naash hone par sanatan Kul-Dharma (family traditions) nasht ho jaate hain, aur dharma ke nasht hone par poora kul adharma ki lapet mein aa jaata hai.

Key Insights:
Social Responsibility: Arjun sirf apne liye nahi ro rahe, woh samaj ki chinta kar rahe hain. Unhe darr hai ki agar bade yoddha maare gaye, toh parivaar ki maryada kaun sikhayega?
Kul-Dharma: Har parivaar ki apni paramparaayein aur sanskar hote hain jo ek peedhi se doosri peedhi tak jaate hain. Arjun ke anusar, yuddh in sanskaron ki kadi (link) ko tod deta hai.
