Motu Patlu is a popular Indian animated television series that premiered on Nickelodeon India on October 16, 2012. It was created by Cosmos-Maya and is inspired by characters from the classic Lotpot comics. The show centers around two best friends—Motu, who is chubby and impulsive, and Patlu, who is slim and intelligent. Together, they live in the fictional town of Furfuri Nagar, later moving to Modern City, and often get into humorous misadventures.
Motu is known for his love of samosas, which give him super strength, while Patlu often uses his quick thinking to solve problems. The duo is supported by colorful characters like Dr. Jhatka, an eccentric inventor; Ghasitaram, who boasts of 20 years of experience in everything; and Inspector Chingum, a dramatic police officer.
