झांक मठ के महंत पारसनाथ की संदिग्ध मौत के बाद इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई है। महंत का शव पानी के टांके में मिला है, पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है और आत्महत्या या हत्या दोनों एंगल से जांच जारी है।
चौहटन क्षेत्र में एक युवक का संदिग्ध शव मिलने से हड़कंप मच गया। परिजनों ने पत्नी और उसके कथित प्रेमी पर मिलकर हत्या का आरोप लगाया है।
वहीं बाड़मेर में घरेलू गैस सिलेंडर की किल्लत से उपभोक्ता परेशान हैं। दो दिन से बुकिंग नहीं हो रही और कॉमर्शियल सप्लाई भी बंद बताई जा रही है।
इधर गर्मी ने भी तेवर दिखाने शुरू कर दिए हैं। बाड़मेर में इस सीजन का पहला तापमान 40 डिग्री पार पहुंच गया है, जबकि मौसम विभाग ने 14–15 मार्च से बारिश और ओलावृष्टि का अलर्ट जारी किया है।
तहसील कार्यालय में पटवारी के टेबल पर बैठने की फोटो वायरल होने के बाद प्रशासन ने जांच के आदेश दिए हैं। साथ ही जमीन विवाद में मारपीट की घटना सीसीटीवी में कैद हुई है।
इसके अलावा डिस्कॉम ने बकायेदारों के सैकड़ों बिजली कनेक्शन काटे हैं और सरकारी अस्पतालों में दवा खरीद को लेकर घोटाले के आरोप भी सामने आए हैं।
बाड़मेर को इंडस्ट्रियल हब बनाने की दिशा में नई पहल के तहत विंड प्लांट कोर्स शुरू किया गया है जिससे युवाओं को स्थानीय रोजगार मिलने की उम्मीद है।
