Shlok:
तत: शङ्खाश्च भेर्यश्च पणवानकगोमुखा: |
सहसैवाभ्यहन्यन्त स शब्दस्तुमुलोऽभवत् || 13 ||

Hindi Translation:
Uske pashchaat (Bhishma ke shankhnaad ke baad) bahut se shankh, nagade, dhol, mridang aur narsinghe ek saath baj uthe. Unka woh sammilit (combined) shor bada hi bhayanak aur prachand tha.

War Instruments: Is shlok mein prachin Bharat ke yuddh mein bajne waale vady😧instruments) ka zikr hai jaise—Shankh, Bheri, Panav, Aanak aur Gomukh.

Atmosphere: Yeh shlok dikhata hai ki kaise Kaurav sena ne Pandavon ko darane ke liye ek bhayanak shor paida kiya.

Tumul: 'Tumul' shabd ka arth hai aisa shor jo aakash ko cheer de.
