Shlok 7 (The Transformation): Arjun kehte hain— Main apni kayarta (weakness) ke karan apna swabhaav bhool chuka hoon aur kartavya ke baare mein bhramit (confused) hoon. Isliye main aapka Shishya banta hoon. Mujhe nishchit roop se bataiye ki mere liye kya kalyankari hai. Main aapki sharan mein hoon (Shadhi mam prapannam).
Shlok 8: Arjun swikar karte hain ki is dharti ka nishkantak rajya ya devtaon ka swami banna bhi unke is mansik dukh (grief) ko door nahi kar sakta jo unki indriyon ko sukhaye de raha hai.
