तस्मान्नार्हा वयं हन्तुं धार्तराष्ट्रान्स्वबान्धवान् |
स्वजनं हि कथं हत्वा सुखिन: स्याम माधव || 37 ||
यद्यप्येते न पश्यन्ति लोभोपहतचेतस: |
कुलक्षयकृतं दोषं मित्रद्रोहे च पातकम् || 38 ||

Hindi Translation:
Arjun kehte hain— He Madhav! Apne hi bhaiyon (Dhritarashtra ke putron) ko maarna hamare liye uchit nahi hai. Apne hi swajanon ka vadh karke hum kaise sukhi ho sakte hain? Bhale hi ye log lobh (greed) ke kaaran apne kul (family) ke vinash aur doston se droh karne ke paap ko nahi dekh paa rahe hain, parantu humein toh yeh dikhayi deta hai.
