जापान के इचिकावा सिटी जू (Ichikawa City Zoo) में जन्में इस नन्हे बंदर 'पंच' (Punch) की कहानी बेहद भावुक है. जन्म के तुरंत बाद इसकी माँ ने इसे छोड़ दिया था. तन्हाई में इसे एक ऐसे सहारे की तलाश थी जिसे वह गले लगा सके.
जू के कर्मचारियों ने इसकी ममता की कमी को पूरा करने के लिए इसे एक सॉफ्ट टॉय (Soft Toy) दिया, जिसे पंच ने अपनी माँ समझकर गले लगा लिया. आज यह नन्हा जीव उसी खिलौने में अपनी दुनिया और माँ का प्यार ढूंढता है।
इंसानियत और बेजुबानों के प्रति संवेदनशीलता का यह अद्भुत उदाहरण है। 🙏"
