⁣खाटू श्याम मंदिर का फाल्गुन मेला
राजस्थान के सीकर जिले में स्थित खाटू धाम में प्रतिवर्ष फाल्गुन मास में लगने वाला खाटू श्याम जी का मेला श्रद्धा, भक्ति और लोक-संस्कृति का अद्भुत संगम है। यह मेला होली से पूर्व फाल्गुन शुक्ल एकादशी और द्वादशी के अवसर पर विशेष रूप से आयोजित होता है। देश-विदेश से लाखों श्रद्धालु “श्याम बाबा” के दर्शन के लिए यहाँ पहुँचते हैं और पूरे धाम में “हारे का सहारा, बाबा श्याम हमारा” के जयघोष गूंज उठते हैं।
धार्मिक मान्यता के अनुसार खाटू श्याम जी को महाभारत के वीर बर्बरीक का कलियुग अवतार माना जाता है। कहा जाता है कि उन्होंने भगवान श्रीकृष्ण को अपना शीश दान में दिया था। प्रसन्न होकर श्रीकृष्ण ने उन्हें वरदान दिया कि कलियुग में वे “श्याम” नाम से पूजे जाएंगे और भक्तों की मनोकामनाएँ पूर्ण करेंगे। इसी आस्था के कारण फाल्गुन मेले का महत्व और भी बढ़ जाता है।
मेले की तैयारी कई सप्ताह पहले से ही आरंभ हो जाती है। मंदिर परिसर और पूरे खाटू कस्बे को रंग-बिरंगी रोशनी, फूलों और ध्वज-पताकाओं से सजाया जाता है। भक्तजन पैदल यात्राएँ (निशान यात्रा) निकालते हुए दूर-दूर से आते हैं। वे हाथों में ध्वज (निशान) लेकर भजन-कीर्तन करते हुए बाबा के दरबार तक पहुँचते हैं। रास्ते में जगह-जगह भंडारे लगाए जाते हैं, जहाँ श्रद्धालुओं को निःशुल्क भोजन और जल की व्यवस्था मिलती है।
फाल्गुन मेले का मुख्य आकर्षण श्याम बाबा का विशेष श्रृंगार और रात्रि जागरण है। मंदिर में फूलों से अलौकिक सजावट की जाती है और सुगंधित इत्र से वातावरण महक उठता है। प्रसिद्ध भजन गायकों द्वारा संगीतमय कीर्तन प्रस्तुत किए जाते हैं, जिनमें भक्त पूरी रात झूमते रहते हैं। इस दौरान श्रद्धा और उत्साह का ऐसा वातावरण बनता है कि हर व्यक्ति भाव-विभोर हो उठता है।
