Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Ch 1 Verse 37-38 | स्वजनं हि कथं हत्वा... | Hindi Meaning

Jai Shri Krishna! 🙏
Is video mein hum Shrimad Bhagwad Gita ke Adhyay 1 ke Shlok 37 aur 38 ka arth samjhenge. Arjun yahan ek bahut bada sawal uthate hain—agar dushman lobh mein aandha hai, toh kya humein bhi vaisa hi banna chahiye?

Shlok 37-38:
तस्मान्नार्हा वयं हन्तुं धार्तराष्ट्रान्स्वबान्धवान् |
स्वजनं हि कथं हत्वा सुखिन: स्याम माधव || 37 ||
यद्यप्येते न पश्यन्ति लोभोपहतचेतस: |
कुलक्षयकृतं दोषं मित्रद्रोहे च पातकम् || 38 ||

Hindi Translation:
Arjun kehte hain— He Madhav! Apne hi bhaiyon (Dhritarashtra ke putron) ko maarna hamare liye uchit nahi hai. Apne hi swajanon ka vadh karke hum kaise sukhi ho sakte hain? Bhale hi ye log lobh (greed) ke kaaran apne kul (family) ke vinash aur doston se droh karne ke paap ko nahi dekh paa rahe hain, parantu humein toh yeh dikhayi deta hai.

Key Insights:
Madhav: Arjun Krishna ko 'Madhav' (Lakshmi ke pati) kehkar pukaarte hain, jo kalyan aur lakshmi ke swami hain. Arjun ka matlab hai ki aap toh sabka bhala karne wale hain, phir is ashubh kaam mein mera saath kyun de rahe hain?
Lobhopahata-chetasah: Iska arth hai jinka chitta (mind) lobh dwara hara gaya ho. Arjun mante hain ki Duryodhana aur uske sathi mansik roop se bimar hain, isliye woh paap ko nahi dekh rahe.
Superiority Complex: Yahan Arjun ke mann mein ek sukshm (subtle) ahankar dikhta hai ki main unse zyada samajhdaar hoon kyunki main paap ko pehchan sakta hoon.
