सातों वार में काम की दौड़,
भागती जिंदगी, थकता हर मोड़।
सोम से लेकर रविवार तक,
खुद से भी दूर, अपनों से अलग।
पर एक वार ऐसा भी आता है,
जो दिल को सुकून दिलाता है।
न कैलेंडर में जिसका नाम होता,
वो आठवां वार – परिवार होता।
जहाँ माँ की ममता मिलती है,
पिता की छाया खिलती है।
