✨Do you know how Rahu and Ketu were born? During the Samudra Manthan (Churning of the Ocean), when the nectar of immortality (Amrit) appeared, a demon named Svarbhanu secretly sat among the gods and drank the nectar. But Surya and Chandra recognized him and informed Lord Vishnu. Lord Vishnu immediately used the Sudarshan Chakra to cut off his head. However, because he had already consumed the nectar, he did not die. His head became Rahu and his body became Ketu. Since then, Rahu and Ketu try to swallow the Sun and Moon, which we know as an eclipse.
