Crisis crys for support. And support comes at varied levels & ways, asking to reshape & refine, to filter the stucked or unwanted particles. The absolute Mahadeva, thou know the real strength of aband..

Mahadeva & the Army of Salvation

Thy know the self, and you will know the lord, declares the scriptures. The great mount Kailasha, his abode, says the scriptures, where he sits always in a deep dhyana mudra, which lasts for many centuries or thousands of years.

Whoever needs a support, or in crisis, had to go through an extreme penance procedures, which too counts for centuries or thousands of years, to wake the great Mahadeva, from deep dhyana mudra, to seek his blessings and cure to the crisis. Even the Mahavishnu had to wait for years, seeking a solution, before he came out of deep contemplation. Many stories, many legends, many demons, many blessings, many cures, that follows and revolve around in honor, pride & devotion of Mahadeva.

While the penance of the seeker is a pre-requisite, to reach the door of his abode, it only clarify that with a dull, subjugated, arrogant, egoistic, influenced, partial, illusioned, drugged, hallucinated mind has to pass through a litmus test, which depends on determination & will, for how many years, it will take, to get rid off, before he could actually start feeling a sense of nothingness, where thou resides the most sacred Mahadeva. And the scriptures, in many colors & tune says, devotion to the purpose begins with the understanding of the outer periphery and that outer periphery is governed and controlled by Mahavishnu, the absolute self, which thou praised in ultimate devotion & surrenderness.

That devotion and surrenderness, on which many moral, ethical, behavioural scientists & motivational speakers, share their wisest wisdom, by saying, know to value yourself, look back again to the mirror, what you hide, fear most, deny more & what you seek. More thy you know self, more closer you will be to understand, what Mahavishnu is. And that honest approach of devotion to the self, is the first step towards, the greater mount Kailasha, the zone of abosolute sacredness & serenity.

The great Mahadeva is depicted to be with his divine family, and also shown with many guards including Nandi, Yakshas and others. Now here is a diversion from the usual understanding of the depicted noble guards or the proud army of Mahadeva. Yakshas, Bhootas, Pretas, Danavas, etc...are those beings who are never welcomed by a civilised, wise society. Either they stay underground or hide from being caught or punished by an efficient noble ruler. As their behaviours are quite unnatural & impulsive, that disturbs the law of land, they seek for an external help. That too comes from the absolute lord himself, who is the essence of all beings, as he only knows the strength & beauty of every being of this very existing cosmos.

And the great Mahadeva commands to these, seemingly or misinterpretingly guards of his army, to stay away from the good, wise, noble and take refuge in great mount Kailasha. There, the great lord himself, will be curing their randomness, chaotic, absurdness, weird, demonic nature, to return back again to the lively world, with mercy and kindness, to show the light in the darkness, to sing with joy & praise, to live the rest of life with contemplation & solace, what they witnessed and to remain always a part of process of change, in the commands of the meditative lord, through Mahavishnu, the wisest of the wise, the noblest of the noble, as many rulers of many lands & costumes.
