Most unique festival of India in the Kinnaur valley of Himalayas. Experiencing Raulane in Kalpa felt like stepping into a story thousands of years old story. Masked dances, sacred rituals and devotional celebration. This ancient, winter-to-spring ritual honors celestial fairies known as Saunis, who are believed to protect the villagers from harsh winters. Celebration involves a sacred wedding sacred between men representing the Raula (groom) and Raulane (bride), they dance through for 5 days to bid farewell to fairies by traditional masked dances and meditative dance. Standing there, watching the sacred union of Raula and Raulane unfold, it didn’t feel like a performance… it felt like stepping into something ancient, something alive. यह कहानी है एक ऐसे लड़के की, जिसे घर में होते हुए भी कभी अपनापन नहीं मिला।
उसकी चाची हर बार उसे खाने से मना कर देती है, जबकि वही खाना खुद खा लेती है।
एक दिन हालात ऐसे मोड़ लेते हैं कि एक बड़ी गलती हो जाती है और चाची की तबीयत अचानक बहुत बिगड़ जाती है।
इसके बाद कहानी में आता है एक ऐसा मोड़, जहाँ इंसानियत, पछतावा और रिश्तों की असली कीमत सामने आती है।
लड़का खुद गंभीर बीमारी से जूझता है, लेकिन फिर भी दिल में नफरत नहीं, बल्कि इंसानियत रखता है।
वह चाची के लिए ऐसा फैसला करता है जो हर किसी के बस की बात नहीं होती।
