the sequel Premalu 2 has been officially canceled due to script issues. Lead actor Naslen confirmed that the project was shelved because the storyline failed to meet the required perfection, though he did leave room for the possibility of returning to it in the future.The highly anticipated sequel was originally announced following the massive ₹135 crore global success of the 2024 original. However, the team officially decided to drop the project for now, allowing the cast and crew to focus on other films.

⁣Upcoming Telugu movies in June 2026 #tollywood #movie #cinematic

Let's take a look at the upcoming movies releasing in June...

On June 4th, Ram Charan's *Peddi* is hitting the screens. Many people feel that the trailer itself makes the story easy to predict. But personally, I think Ram Charan is going to deliver a performance on the level of *Rangasthalam* in this film.

Next, on June 11th, a musical fantasy film called *Singgeetham* is releasing. The teaser looked really good, and I'm eagerly waiting for the trailer.

Then, on June 19th, Samantha's *Maa Inti Bangaram* is set to release. More than the first half, I'm especially excited to see what the second half of the movie has in store.

On the same day, actor Vadde Naveen will be making his silver-screen comeback with *Transfer Thrimoorthulu*. The teaser has already been released, but honestly, I couldn't fully understand what the movie is about. The makers didn't reveal many hints either. Maybe we should wait for the trailer.

And finally, on June 26th, it looks like Akhil Akkineni might finally score a hit this time. The title glimpse released a year ago created a lot of hype for the movie, and the teaser that came out a week ago increased that excitement even further. With Akhil's raw and rugged look set against a village backdrop, it feels like he has a strong chance of delivering a hit. I'm also expecting the film to be a musical success.
